    The Volvo series is a range of executive cars produced by the Swedish manufacturer Volvo Cars from to The series was introduced in [2] with the luxurious , followed two years later [2] by the lower priced which capitalized on the prestige attained by the very similar The series was then gradually replaced, beginning in , by the series.
