This can impede the view to the rear quarters. Hit a bump even a small one car bottoms out, ice build up cracks the fender liner and entire plastic front bumper. Hyundai Elantra - User Reviews - CarGurus

Each ranking was based on 9 categories. Here is the summary of top rankings. Great mileage, low maintenance. Not quite as peppy as a Mazda3 which was my 2nd choice , but peppy enough. Good handling, fun to drive.

I use it mainly for commuting to work, but its a great trip car. Love the car, would recommend it to anyone and would buy this model again in a heartbeat. Except for replacing taillight bulbs about ever other oil change??!!! Good gas mileage not as good as Consumer Reports says, but pretty good. Im big; front seat has plenty of room especially headroom for me. No spare tire buy your own. Position of the air vents is not optimal - no low air vent, apparently, for example.

Watch out for blind spots when you pass - the window supports obscure a bit. It feels much larger when you inside and I feel safe in it with all the current safety options that comes standard.

This car was the perfect choice for me and my wife to commute back and forth to work as well as trips! Meets the overall gas mileage that we we're looking for as well as enough comfort!! But that's my fault. Excellent, Reliable Vehicle — Amazing, reliable, fantastic vehicle.

Awesome in the rain, sleet, or snow, Never had any problems with this car whatsoever. Only problem is that my second child is on the way and i need something with a bigger back set, As i am now going to need room for two car seats and not just one. Great Practical Car — I've enjoyed the car and it's run perfectly with no problems.

I average in the low 30's for MPG's. The car was a lease with a low payment and the low payment is a result of Hyundai's improved status in the automotive landscape and stronger resale value. One of the top values on the road in the commuter car class, good looking, gets top safety ratings important for a family man and gets good MPG's. Not overly exciting to drive but very functional.

The interior is laid out very nice, driver friendly and very comfortable. It's exterior is also very attractive, and I have received numerous compliments on it. I have found no negatives about this vehicle. I have been impressed with it since I rented one, then purchased one. This vehicle has exceeded my expectations, in all aspects. This is a great commuter or long trip vehicle.

It's comfortable and handles great on the highway, in the mountains and in town. Fuel economy improves with age. It's a great car! Great Car — I love the gas mileage. There is a lot of room inside and also the trunk. The vehicle is also very stylish. It looks good on the road and handles great. The Elantra is also great in the snow.

Car gets great gas mileage. Not alot of power, but with a compact you shouldnt expect much. Disappointed — I bought it from a rental company with 30, miles. I have driven it 6, and already had the transmission replaced and a software update after getting a P error code. I bought this car for its relatively roomy interior, reliability, and gas milege.
